Feedback from athletes and coaches

Sometimes it’s wise to analyze your training plan with someone to reach the next level. Kaido Leesmann is exactly that person for me, and our teamwork can be described as fantastic. I’m looking forward to every training session with him.

Gert Koovit / a regular Estonian powerlifting champion, a European championship medal winner

Whatever your age, you can always do sport in some way. None of my athletic achievements would have been possible without the support and help of such a competent team.

Raul Randmäe / a world bench pressing champion, a repeat European bench pressing champion

My experience of working with Kaido Leesmann taught me to constantly set new goals and make every effort to achieve those goals. We have tested a bunch of different approaches and analyzed all of them to see progress. The results surely came.

Siim Rast / a world champion, a repeat European powerlifting champion, world championship medalist that set multiple Estonian records in both powerlifting and bench press.

Powerlifting is a sport that is difficult to do alone. One can try with little results to show for it. I am so grateful to have been working for 12 years with experienced coaches and just pleasant teammates. It has truly been a pleasure.

Hjalmar Mäe / a 2-time bench press world champion, a national repeat bench-pressing champion that set several Estonian records in both bench press and powerlifting

I’ve known Kaido for more than 20 years and followed his progress as an athlete and coach. We have worked together on different successful projects. Let me just add that there’s always something to learn from Kaido.

Ott Kiivikas / 20-time absolute Estonian bodybuilding champion, European champion, the World Cup winner.

I have trained both on my own and with a team. It shows in your results when several sets of eyes watch your work in order to assess it and help you get better. It is a different level of motivation altogether. I can safely say that this is the reason for my professional growth and titles.

Jaan Lahe / a repeat Estonian bench-pressing champion.

I worked with the Reval Sports Club powerlifting team for years. These years were a period of speedy progress for me as an athlete. If you’re looking to grow, you cannot go without the development-inducing atmosphere and a community to grow with.

Alexander Andrusenko / a repeat Estonian champion in bench press and powerlifting, a president of Estonian Powerlifting Federation

I have witnessed the powerlifters’ training for years. It’s an inspiring sight – all of them cheering and helping one another. And I keep seeing new “stars” shining brighter. You know, I’m convinced that a positive example is contagious.

Siim Kelner / an absolute Estonian Junior bodybuilding champion, a personal trainer

We’ve had several common projects with powerlifters these past years. We’ve organized competitions, training courses and training camps together with Kaido. These guys have always been and remain team players and always root for each other. It’s an honor to share my victories and success with the powerlifters.

Arnold Tokko / a longstanding Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation president.

Both my physical and mental state have immensely improved. My progress in speed, explosive power and especially in stamina has been evident. During my training sessions with Kaido, I have repeated my best results, which would have been almost impossible, had I been working on my own. This adds to my confidence in my abilities, which in turn gives me a boost in the ring.

Uku Jürjendal / a professional K1 fighter, world kickboxing champion

My general endurance and stamina have grown tremendously during my training sessions with Kaido. I had to learn keep on working even in those “don’t wonna” and “I can’t do it” days. I was definitely dragged out of my comfort zone.

Henry Rohtla / Professional fighter

I’ve been training with Kaido for two years and during that time my strength indices have hugely improved. Kaido’s training sessions are not only challenging, but they are also diverse, so that you would need to put mental and psychological effort into them. Anyone wishing to reach the top should work with the best in the field, and it is the case with Kaido.

Oliver Peek / Professional fighter

You cannot go into combat sports without a serious physical foundation, overall body-conditioning. And Kaido is famous for his talent to develop that in athletes. I’d call our cooperation in this area productive.

Kevin Renno / Muai Thai world champion

Any community needs its heroes, true leaders, men and women holding their heads high, who appreciate the value of responsibility and freedom whatever their position. Kaido is not only a sport legend, a world champion, a respected coach and leader. First and foremost, he is someone you can always rely on whether working together, letting him play the leadership role, training others, or just as a friend. It is an incredibly hard-working, patient man with huge self-control, who never gives up and is focused and persistent when someone needs a friendly challenge and some motivation. He has already turned the world upside down becoming a world champion, still he is striving to change the world for other people too. That is something that makes him a true leader in my eyes.

Monika Kuzmina / Media partner, GoodNews Communication CEO

I have achieved my peak physical form training according to Kaido’s programs, which was a true springboard to the high results in my main sport – the discus. The training programs, though simple in their structure, really work, which is the most important.

Priidu Niit / a member of Estonian track and field team

We have got valuable help and advice on how better to train the specific muscle groups that are essential in our sport, how to effectively train explosive strength. This was mutually beneficial cooperation, one that extended our knowledge around conditioning and recovery.

Margit Tamm / Secretary-General of Estonian Table Tennis Federation

We were on the receiving end of a lot of knowledge and wisdom in diet and recovery. I believe that the purpose of every coach is to keep searching for new opportunities and ways to develop. It is exciting to see how different sport disciplines enrich one another.

Birgit Mardi / a coach at Rene Busch tennis school

The training courses that Kaido lead for our team were a big help in my athletic development. I can surely say that I approach my training and diet a lot more consciously now. This, in turn, helped my sports career longevity.

Lauri Laaniste / a member of Estonian rugby team

I have worked together with Kaido Leesman for good few years. It drove my physical endurance to a whole new level. I grew both as an athlete and a man. I dare say that today we go about things in a very professional manner.

Maikel Astur / a European champion, a world champion, a medalist of European championship. Best Estonian fighter in both 2018 and 2019.

It was exciting to see the progress in my speed and endurance while training with Kaido. I also learned a lot about food supplements and recovery. As an actively competing athlete, I know for a fact that these comprise a big portion of the overall result. So, I am very pleased.

Astrid Johanna Grents / a professional fighter, a 2-time world champion.
